The ideal candidate will specialize in breast imaging and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality diagnostic and interventional services in breast health.
This role is crucial to the early detection and treatment of breast disease, and it requires a collaborative approach with referring physicians, technologists, and patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret screening and diagnostic 2D and 3D mammograms.
Perform and interpret breast ultrasound and breast MRI studies.
Conduct image-guided breast procedures, including:
Stereotactic biopsies
Ultrasound-guided biopsies
MRI-guided biopsies
Needle localizations
Participate in multidisciplinary breast conferences and collaborate with breast surgeons, oncologists, and pathologists.
Provide consultative services to referring physicians.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of imaging reports.
Maintain compliance with regulatory standards (ACR, MQSA, HIPAA).
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and educational activities.
Qualifications:
Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology.
Fellowship training in Breast Imaging or Women’s Imaging preferred.
Valid and unrestricted Ohio license (or eligibility for licensure).
MQSA certification or ability to obtain certification.
Proficiency in breast-related interventional procedures.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
