We are currently looking for a talented Interventional Radiologist to join our growing team of healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of interventional radiology procedures to diagnose and treat various medical conditions. As an Interventional Radiologist, you will work closely with other medical specialists and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Interventional Procedures: Utilize advanced imaging techniques to perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures, such as angiography, embolization, biopsy, and drainage, among others.

  • Patient Evaluation: Evaluate patients’ medical histories, symptoms, and diagnostic data to determine appropriate interventional procedures and treatment plans.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with referring physicians, radiology technicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and high-quality patient care.

  • Patient Education: Communicate effectively with patients and their families, explaining procedures, risks, and expected outcomes to obtain informed consent.

  • Quality Assurance: Adhere to quality assurance guidelines and maintain the highest standards of patient safety and care.

  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest advancements in interventional radiology techniques and technologies through continuous education and professional development.

  • Documentation: Accurately document patient information, procedures performed, and treatment plans in electronic medical records.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification in Radiology with subspecialty certification in Interventional Radiology.
  • State of Georgia medical license and eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Georgia.
  • Strong background in diagnostic radiology and interventional radiology procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and excellent clinical outcomes.
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
