Real Estate Loan Processor Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Real Estate Loan Processor to join our established community bank in East Texas. This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment while ensuring smooth and efficient loan processing for both residential and commercial real estate transactions.

Key Responsibilities

Review loan applications for completeness and accuracy
Collect and verify borrower documentation, including income, assets, credit, and property information
Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, appraisers, and title companies throughout the loan process
Prepare and submit complete loan files for underwriting approval
Monitor loan pipelines to ensure deadlines are met and closing dates are achieved
Maintain compliance with banking, federal, and state lending regulations
Provide exceptional customer service to borrowers and internal team members

Qualifications

Previous experience as a loan processor, preferably in real estate lending
Strong knowledge of mortgage lending practices, regulations, and documentation requirements
Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple files and deadlines
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with loan processing software and Microsoft Office Suite
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
