MSK Remote Radiologist opportunity TW817

Need: MSK Radiologist to read all modalities
$3,000 per day Independent Contractor or W-2 & benefits.
7 on 7 off or Monday – Friday, 1:4 weekends
2pm to 11 pm CST or 9:30am to 6:30pm
As a Remote Radiologist, you will be responsible for interpreting medical images such as X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds to diagnose and treat diseases and injuries. This position allows you to work from the comfort of your own home while providing critical diagnostic support to healthcare facilities and patients. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:

  1. Image Interpretation: Review and interpret medical images to diagnose conditions or injuries accurately. Provide detailed and timely reports to referring physicians.
  2. Diagnostic Accuracy: Ensure high accuracy in interpreting images and diagnosing various medical conditions. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for a comprehensive diagnosis.
  3. Quality Control: Maintain high-quality standards in image interpretation and reporting. Adhere to established protocols and guidelines to ensure consistent and reliable results.
  4. Technology Utilization: Utilize advanced medical imaging software and technology to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of diagnoses. Stay updated with the latest advancements in radiology technology.
  5. Communication: Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, patients, and other team members. Discuss complex cases with referring physicians and provide consultations as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Radiology.
  • Experience in interpreting a variety of medical images including X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
  • Proficiency in using radiology information systems and picture archiving and communication systems (RIS/PACS).
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Subspecialty fellowship training in a specific area of radiology (e.g., neuroradiology, musculoskeletal radiology, interventional radiology).
  • Experience in telemedicine or remote radiology services.
  • Familiarity with teleradiology platforms and tools.
