The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in radiology principles, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:

  1. Medical Imaging Interpretation: Utilize advanced imaging technology to interpret and analyze diagnostic images, providing accurate and timely diagnoses.
  2. Diagnostic Procedures: Perform and interpret various diagnostic procedures including X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, ultrasounds, and other imaging modalities as needed.
  3. Collaboration: Work closely with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and optimal patient care.
  4. Patient Care: Provide compassionate and patient-centered care, explaining procedures and findings to patients and their families in a clear and understandable manner.
  5. Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards and protocols in medical imaging interpretation and reporting.
  6. Continuing Education: Stay current with advancements in radiology technology, techniques, and research through ongoing education and professional development activities.
  7. Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, including imaging interpretations and diagnostic reports, in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  8. Radiology Consultation: Offer expert consultation to colleagues and healthcare professionals on complex cases and imaging-related inquiries.
  9. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines to ensure the safe operation of imaging equipment and the protection of patients and staff.

Qualifications:

  1. Medical Degree: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
  2. Board Certification: Board certification or eligibility in Radiology from the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or equivalent.
  3. Licensure: Valid medical license to practice as a Radiologist in the state of Massachusetts
