Need: General Radiologist with a California license to read CT, US, PF, MR & Nucs.
Minimum – 26 full weekends (Sat and Sun)
9 hour shifts
$400 to $425 per hour
95 to 100 RVU’s per shift
Additional Bonuses over threshold

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic interpretations of various medical imaging modalities, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and nuclear medicine studies.
  • Analyze and interpret medical images to identify abnormalities, diseases, or injuries, and provide accurate reports with detailed findings to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate effectively with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the timely delivery of radiology reports and facilitate appropriate patient care.
  • Utilize advanced imaging techniques and technologies to enhance image quality and diagnostic accuracy.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in radiology, including emerging imaging technologies, diagnostic procedures, and treatment modalities.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to radiology technologists during imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and the acquisition of high-quality images.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of imaging protocols, quality control measures, and radiation safety protocols to ensure optimal patient care and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, conferences, and case discussions to contribute to patient management and treatment planning.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of imaging interpretations, reports, and other relevant patient information.
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards in radiology practice, ensuring patient confidentiality and privacy.

Requirements:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a radiology residency program.
  • Board certification or eligibility in diagnostic radiology.
  • Proficiency in interpreting a wide range of medical imaging modalities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to accurately interpret complex imaging studies and identify abnormalities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals and communicate findings to referring physicians.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently and provide accurate reports in a timely manner.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of radiology.
