We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dermatology Physician Assistant to join our dermatology practice. The Dermatology PA will be an essential part of our team, providing high-quality care to patients with skin conditions. Collaborating closely with dermatologists and other healthcare professionals, the Dermatology PA will assess, diagnose, and manage various dermatological conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, skin examinations, and review of diagnostic tests.
- Collaborate with dermatologists to diagnose and develop personalized treatment plans for patients with skin disorders.
- Perform procedures such as skin biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and other dermatological interventions.
- Prescribe and manage medications, topical treatments, and other therapeutic interventions.
- Provide patient education on skin health, disease management, and preventive measures.
- Monitor treatment progress, manage side effects, and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including skin biopsies and laboratory studies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) for dermatology patients.
- Assist in cosmetic dermatology procedures, such as Botox, fillers, and laser treatments
