Need: General Radiologist with basic IR skills
The successful candidate will play a key role in providing accurate and timely diagnostic interpretations through the use of various imaging modalities.
As a General Radiologist, you will contribute to the overall patient care process by collaborating with medical professionals and utilizing your expertise to assist in the diagnosis and treatment planning for a diverse range of medical conditions.
Responsibilities:
Diagnostic Interpretation: Perform and interpret a variety of diagnostic imaging studies, including X-rays, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and fluoroscopy.
Clinical Consultation: Collaborate with referring physicians and healthcare professionals to discuss patient cases, provide diagnostic insights, and contribute to comprehensive patient care.
Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy and quality of diagnostic images, employing a high level of attention to detail in the interpretation process.
Multidisciplinary Team Collaboration: Work closely with other specialists, such as surgeons, oncologists, and internal medicine physicians, to provide integrated and comprehensive patient care.
Patient Communication: Effectively communicate imaging findings to patients, ensuring understanding and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
Documentation: Document diagnostic impressions and recommendations accurately and comprehensively in electronic medical records, maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
Qualifications:
Medical Degree: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
Board Certification: Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or equivalent certification.
Licensure: Current Maryland medical license.
Experience: Significant experience in general radiology, with a proven track record of accurate diagnostic interpretations.
