Internal Medicine Hospitalist Opportunity – Long Island.
7 on 7 off days.
$240,000 plus- first year potential.
($270,000 for night shift).

Need: Internal Medicine Physician with Hospitalist experience.
you will play a crucial role in the care and management of patients admitted to the hospital. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate should possess excellent clinical skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to providing compassionate healthcare.
Responsibilities:
- Patient Care:
- Admit, assess, and manage the care of patients admitted to the hospital.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Perform routine and urgent medical procedures as required.
- Clinical Decision Making:
- Make timely and informed clinical decisions based on patient assessments, diagnostic results, and medical history.
- Adjust treatment plans in response to changes in patient status.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with specialists, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and integrated patient care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, case conferences, and team meetings.
- Communication:
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing clear and understandable explanations of diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain open and transparent communication with the broader healthcare team.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or a related field.
- New York State medical license.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to make sound medical decisions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
