The ideal candidate will be skilled in performing a broad spectrum of image-guided, minimally invasive procedures, while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

This role involves both inpatient and outpatient services, with opportunities to participate in multidisciplinary care teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of interventional procedures, including but not limited to:

    • Vascular access

    • Biopsies and drainages

    • Tumor ablations

    • Angiography and angioplasty

    • Embolization (e.g., uterine fibroids, GI bleeding, trauma)

    • Central venous access and dialysis-related interventions

    • Biliary and genitourinary interventions

  • Interpret diagnostic imaging studies relevant to interventional procedures (CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy)

  • Collaborate with referring physicians and clinical teams to determine appropriate interventional treatment plans

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system

  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives, continuing education, and departmental meetings

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution

  • Completion of an accredited residency in Diagnostic Radiology

  • Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology required

  • Board certification (or eligibility) in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or equivalent

  • Valid medical license (or eligibility for licensure) in the state of Texas

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
