As an Interventional Radiologist, you will play a key role in diagnosing and treating patients using various image-guided procedures. You will work closely with referring physicians and other medical professionals to provide innovative and minimally invasive treatments to patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology, excellent technical skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnostic Imaging: Utilize advanced imaging techniques, such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, and ultrasound, to diagnose and evaluate diseases and conditions.
- Interventional Procedures: Perform a variety of minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to treat conditions such as vascular diseases, cancer, and organ dysfunctions. Procedures may include angiography, angioplasty, embolization, biopsies, and drainage procedures.
- Patient Assessment: Evaluate patients’ medical histories and images to determine the most suitable interventional radiology procedures.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
- Current Texas license or in process
- Board certification in Radiology and subspecialty certification in Interventional Radiology.
- State medical license and necessary certifications to practice interventional radiology.
- Strong technical skills in performing various interventional procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
