Interventional Radiology opportunity LA – 1210

Louisiana, Hybrid possibility, 2 weeks onsite, one week remote or similar.
Maybe even one week onsite and 2 remote.
$500,000 plus bonus production over TBD rvu threshold.
Retirement, Malpractice, Health insurance.
Need: IR to do IR and general.
Any variation of CT, PF, MR, US, Nuc med, no mammo.

Responsibilities:
Diagnostic and Therapeutic Procedures: Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures, including but not limited to angiography, embolization, biopsies, drainage procedures, and vascular interventions.
Patient Evaluation: Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including reviewing medical histories, images, and other relevant information to determine the most appropriate interventional radiology procedures for diagnosis and treatment.
Collaboration: Collaborate with referring physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to discuss patient cases, treatment plans, and ensure comprehensive, coordinated care.
Image Interpretation: Analyze and interpret diagnostic images, such as CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasound, to guide and perform interventional procedures accurately.
Patient Care: Provide compassionate and patient-centered care throughout the entire process, from pre-procedure consultation to post-procedure follow-up, ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of patients.

Qualifications:

  1. Medical Degree: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
  2. Board Certification: Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology with subspecialty certification in Interventional Radiology.
  3. Licensure: Current and unrestricted Louisiana medical licensure.
  4. Experience: Proven experience in interventional radiology practice, demonstrating proficiency in a wide range of interventional procedures.
  5. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate with patients.
  6. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess complex medical situations and determine appropriate interventions.
  7. Commitment to Quality: Dedication to providing high-quality patient care and a commitment to continuous improvement.
