$500K first year PLUS $100K signing bonus

Teleradiology Option: Available for certain days

IR call split equally among 3 other IR/DR radiologists

The ideal candidate will have expertise in minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to diagnose and treat a variety of conditions.

The Interventional Radiologist will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care while utilizing the latest advancements in interventional radiology techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform minimally invasive, image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including but not limited to angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, and biopsies.
  • Interpret imaging results from fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, and MRI to guide procedures effectively.
  • Collaborate with referring physicians and specialists to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Ensure patient safety by adhering to established protocols and best practices in interventional radiology.
  • Educate patients and their families about procedures, risks, and post-procedure care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and document all procedures performed.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in interventional radiology through continuing education and research.
  • Participate in hospital rounds, case discussions, and multidisciplinary team meetings.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a residency in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Interventional Radiology.
  • Valid medical license to practice in Illinois.
  • Strong knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning.
