$500K first year PLUS $100K signing bonus

Teleradiology Option: Available for certain days

IR call split equally among 3 other IR/DR radiologists

Teleradiology service covers 7 PM – 7 AM

The ideal candidate will have expertise in minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to diagnose and treat a variety of conditions.

The Interventional Radiologist will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care while utilizing the latest advancements in interventional radiology techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform minimally invasive, image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including but not limited to angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, and biopsies.
Interpret imaging results from fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, and MRI to guide procedures effectively.
Collaborate with referring physicians and specialists to develop and implement treatment plans.
Ensure patient safety by adhering to established protocols and best practices in interventional radiology.
Educate patients and their families about procedures, risks, and post-procedure care.
Maintain accurate medical records and document all procedures performed.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in interventional radiology through continuing education and research.
Participate in hospital rounds, case discussions, and multidisciplinary team meetings.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Completion of a residency in Diagnostic Radiology.
Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology.
Board certification or eligibility in Interventional Radiology.
Valid medical license to practice in Illinois.
Strong knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and techniques.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning.
