The ideal candidate will specialize in minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to diagnose and treat various medical conditions. This role requires expertise in utilizing fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, and MRI to perform vascular and non-vascular interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures, including but not limited to angioplasty, embolization, tumor ablation, biopsies, and catheter placements.
  • Interpret imaging studies and provide expert consultation to referring physicians.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout interventional procedures.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons, oncologists, and cardiologists, to develop treatment plans.
  • Participate in on-call rotations as required.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of procedures and patient care.
  • Stay up to date with advancements in interventional radiology techniques and technology.
  • Educate and mentor radiology residents, fellows, and medical staff as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Training: Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Diagnostic Radiology and fellowship in Interventional Radiology.
  • Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Interventional Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR).
  • Licensure: Valid medical license to practice in Pennsylvania.
