The ideal candidate will specialize in minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to diagnose and treat various medical conditions. This role requires expertise in utilizing fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, and MRI to perform vascular and non-vascular interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures, including but not limited to angioplasty, embolization, tumor ablation, biopsies, and catheter placements.
Interpret imaging studies and provide expert consultation to referring physicians.
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout interventional procedures.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons, oncologists, and cardiologists, to develop treatment plans.
Participate in on-call rotations as required.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of procedures and patient care.
Stay up to date with advancements in interventional radiology techniques and technology.
Educate and mentor radiology residents, fellows, and medical staff as needed.

Qualifications:

Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
Training: Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Diagnostic Radiology and fellowship in Interventional Radiology.
Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Interventional Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR).
Licensure: Valid medical license to practice in Pennsylvania.
