Nurse Practitioner opportunity Maryland

Outpatient Primary Care only.
No weekends No nights.
8 am to 5 pm schedule.
$125,000 plus production bonus (negotiable with more experience)
Full benefits including Malpractice, Health insurance and more.
15 to 20 patients per day.
Willing train new graduate.
Responsibilities:

Patient Assessment and Evaluation:

Perform thorough physical assessments, medical histories, and reviews of systems.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, including but not limited to, respiratory infections, diabetes, hypertension, and musculoskeletal disorders.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and screenings.
Develop appropriate treatment plans and initiate interventions accordingly.

Treatment and Care:

Prescribe and administer medications, treatments, and therapies.
Provide patient education regarding medications, treatment plans, disease management, and preventive care.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
Monitor and manage patients with chronic conditions, promoting self-management and compliance with treatment plans.

Health Promotion and Preventive Care:

Conduct health screenings and assessments, including immunizations, cancer screenings, and risk factor identification.
Develop and implement preventive care plans based on patient needs and evidence-based guidelines.
Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, health maintenance, and disease prevention strategies.
Foster a patient-centered approach, encouraging patients to actively participate in their own healthcare decisions.

Documentation and Communication:

Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records (EMR) of patient encounters, treatments, and progress.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and support staff.
Provide clear and concise verbal and written communication to patients, ensuring they understand their conditions and treatment plans.

Continuous Professional Development:

Stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements, guidelines, and best practices.
Participate in continuing education opportunities and professional development activities.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and research projects, as appropriate.

Qualifications:

Valid Nurse Practitioner license and certification in the state of practice.
Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an outpatient or primary care setting (preferred but not necessary).
In-depth knowledge of primary care principles, diagnostic procedures, and treatment modalities.
Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Dedication to providing patient-centered, evidence-based care.
