Physician Assistant job/Washington

Job Details:

Washington State – located near Vancouver
Need: Physician Assistant to work in an Internal Medicine practice
10% of patients are on Pain medications – need someone comfortable dealing with pain medicine patients
4-day work week
$125,000 to $130,000 first year – negotiable
2 to 3 patients per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history and physical examinations.
Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic illnesses in adult patients.
Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.).
Develop and implement patient care plans, adjusting as needed.
Perform routine procedures (e.g., EKGs, wound care, joint injections, etc.) depending on scope and training.
Provide patient education on preventive care, medications, and chronic disease management.
Coordinate care with other members of the healthcare team, including referrals to specialists.
Document all patient encounters thoroughly and accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and comply with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Current and valid Physician Assistant license in Washington (or Nurse Practitioner)
Graduation from an accredited PA program.
Certification by the NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants).
