This role is ideal for a radiologist who prefers a manageable caseload and can deliver high-quality diagnostic services with attention to detail. The low-volume environment allows for a balanced workload, ensuring optimal focus on each patient’s imaging needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret and analyze medical imaging results including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, and other radiological modalities.
Provide accurate diagnostic reports and communicate findings to referring physicians in a timely manner.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain thorough and accurate medical records in accordance with regulatory standards.
Participate in peer reviews and quality assurance initiatives to ensure the highest standard of radiologic services.
Stay updated with the latest radiological techniques, technologies, and best practices.
Provide consultations for second opinions, as required.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and ethical medical standards.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with specialized training in Radiology.
Board Certification in Radiology (ABR, AOBR, or equivalent).
Valid and active medical license to practice in California
Experience in interpreting a broad range of imaging modalities is preferred.
Proficiency in diagnostic tools and imaging technology (e.g., PACS, RIS).
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently in a low-volume setting with minimal supervision.
