Need General Radiologist
Schedule is Monday – Friday
8 am to 5 pm
1:4 weekends (tele)
$550,000 first year negotiable
Full benefits
$800,000 after 1 year to partnership
10 weeks vacation 1st year 11 weeks thereafter.

Key Responsibilities:
Interpretation of Imaging Studies: Review and interpret a wide range of diagnostic images, including X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, ultrasounds, and fluoroscopy, to detect abnormalities or medical conditions.
Consultation: Collaborate with referring physicians and healthcare professionals to provide accurate reports and recommendations based on imaging findings.
Patient Care: Communicate results with patients and provide explanations regarding imaging studies when necessary.
Engage in direct patient care during procedures requiring radiologist intervention, such as biopsies or fluoroscopic studies.
Diagnostic Imaging Procedures: Perform minimally invasive procedures under image guidance, such as needle biopsies, drain placements, and joint injections.
Quality Assurance: Ensure imaging quality and adherence to protocols.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer review processes to maintain high diagnostic accuracy.
Maintain Records: Document imaging results accurately in patients’ medical records, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Radiation Safety: Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and implement safety protocols for both staff and patients.
Continuous Learning: Stay current with advancements in imaging technology, techniques, and best practices by participating in continuing education and attending relevant conferences or training sessions.
Required Qualifications:
Medical Degree: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution.
Board Certification: Board certification in Radiology (or board eligibility).
State License: Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of New York
Imaging Proficiency: Expertise in interpreting diagnostic imaging across multiple modalities including X-rays, CT, MRI, and ultrasound.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues, referring physicians, and patients.
Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in diagnosing conditions through imaging.
